The Biology Teacher
A professor stood before his class of twenty senior organic biology students, about to
hand out the final exam. "I want to say that it's been a pleasure teaching you this semester. I know you've all worked extremely hard and many of you are off to medical school after summer. So that no one gets their GPA messed up because they might have been celebrating a bit too much this week, anyone who would like to opt out of the final exam today will receive a 'B' for the course. “There was much rejoicing in the class as students got up, walked to the front of the class, and took the professor up on his offer. As the last taker left the room, the professor looked out over the handful of remaining students and asked,
"Anyone else? This is your last chance."
One final student rose up and opted out of the final. The professor closed the door and took attendance of those still remaining.
"I'm glad to see you believe in yourselves," he said. "You all get 'A's."

~*كاراميلا*~you're welcome
oh but please forgive me this is the right story about friendship as you asked
Story - A True Real Friend
It's nice to have a true friend beside you but you of course have to learn how to be a true friend to others. Reciprocation is the key!
True real friends double your happiness and half your burdens. Basically how you would like a true real friend to be, you should be like this to your true friends. Trust, forgiveness, accountability are some ingredients of a true friend. True friendships are hard to come by. And what's more, life is short. So treasure these friends if you have already have them. If you don't continue to search, because once you have them, life becomes so much easier to live, no matter what happens. I have been through pretty rough patches
and I dare say, without my friends I would not have made it
Friendships need lots of energy and patience to maintain them. Not to mention time too. When your friend needs you, sometimes when things are not going too well on your side, it is often so easy to turn a deaf ear to their pleas. It is especially during these times, that you must find the strength in you to help your friend. And it is during these times that your friendship will be forged and made stronger.
And you must always be happy for their successes, even when things are not going too well on your side. It might be hard to do for some people but it is something that you need to learn. Think about all the sacrifices your friend has made for you and all the times when he or she was happy for you despite his or her own troubles.
Think about all the happy times you all enjoyed and the sad, rough times you all went through together. That should give you sufficient patience to actually be a true friend for them. Remember, true friends are the next best thing to family. They will always be your pillar of support no matter what
Good Luck sweetie
this is another lovely story it's called the path
enjoy it dear
The Path
A story of friendship
I walked along, thinking about you, about us. I had decided to go down a different path, one that was not so familiar to me, one I had only been on once before. I saved this path for special occasions, times of desperate need and indescribable joy. Times when I wanted to be alone with God to tell him my deepest feelings. Today was one of those kind of days.
The weather obliged my mood and provided rain to soften the path ahead of me, and there was a gentle breeze to send the forest scents to me. The trees waved gently, as the rain blurred their outlines, making them more an artists painting than real to me.
I walked alone, content within myself, needing or wanting no companionship but my thoughts. The leaves rustled slightly under my feet and I marveled that they had once been so green, and were now the forest floor's decoration. How quickly autumn had arrived this year! It was just yesterday I traveled this path in sorrow, and now my reason was quite different.
As I walked I saw that I was farther down this path than ever before, the realization exciting. I looked around me with new interest, my focus on my surroundings, rather than my feelings. The forest was beautifully fragrant from the rain, which had ceased just moments ago.
I neared a bend in the path and saw a small clearing. It contained a large gnarled tree trunk, and the remains of what had been a huge tree, fallen to make the opening in the forest canopy. The trunk was beautiful, and seemed to be trying to tell me something. Its roots were smooth, yet crooked... and I pondered the meaning of such a thing. It's roots seemed to be speaking of a struggle, a battle against the earth for a place to grow, a war between the earth and that which needed it to survive. The tree itself, by falling, had supplied many different plants with a chance to exist, some growing strait up from the tree trunk itself. The small forest animals were abundant here.. small birds chirping and crickets singing their happy little song.
I marveled at God's magnificence.. that He could take a thing so ordinary as a tree, and turn it into the one thing that provided life to so many.
As I stood there I realized that you were like that tree in some ways. Your life's struggles producing a rare beauty in you that drew me closer, your efforts at life and knowledge giving so many others help and comfort. It was a revelation to me. That one soul's struggles provides another soul's strength. I don't think I will ever wait so long to travel that winding path again. Every day achieved is a special occasion. And now I know a friend waits for me on the end of that path, and I cannot keep myself away.
