here's my short story about my trip when I went to NC and I hope its okay and you can get some points out of it..okay
I was feeling adventurous last weekend and decided to try something in Charlotte, NC. Not knowing a lot about the restaurant scene there, I started by checking at the visitors Web site. There I found a long list of eateries. The first one to catch my attention was Ali Baba, which was listed as a place that served Arabian and Indian cuisine. Hoping we'd get lucky, off we went for dinner. After navigating through the one-way streets, we finally found Ali Baba on a road that was blocked for vehicle use. We parked around the corner and made our way into the tiny restaurant. With the lights of the University, Charlotte in the foreground and the sight of college students everywhere, I was beginning to wonder about my dining choice. We placed and paid for our orders and sat down to wait. As I looked around, I was amazed to see the walls, the painted floors, nice and clean tables. The wall behind the counter had a large painted caricature of a man holding a kebab and plate of rice. The tacky art-project was the highlight of the brightly painted yellow walls. The food arrived without much of a wait. My family and I were the only adventurous ones at our table. Everyone in the family ordered burgers. I ordered two appetizers: the spinach borani, a steamed spinach dip mixed with seasoned yogurt, and the baba ganouj, a broiled eggplant puree blended with garlic. Both dips were served with pita bread.the food tasted fresh and both were pretty good appetizing. I did enjoy the pita bread - gotta love those carbs!
My mother and dad ordered the Fesenjon, a chicken stew made with pomegranate sauce and walnuts and served on rice. I ordered a chicken gyros, served with tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce. It was awesome meal. This restaurant definitely has a lot of great meals but I was not in the mood to eat too much. Serving kebabs, burgers, dolmas, and burritos was the best, I loved it. Our server was extremely nice. She also was knowledgeable about the menu and recommended a great dessert: a sopapilla. This flour pastry is fried and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of honey and a dusting of powdered sugar. It had a ton of flavor and ended my late lunch on a perfect note.

salaam,, well sister this is the things that I can think of so far and I would like to ask you something...if you travled with your family before to anywhere..why don't you post it!! its better because you can tell us about your experince....even if its arabic it would be good and then we can try to translate i....anyways I wll try to post mine, and incase you need more information about please feel free to ask or you can follow my steps the way I wrote and you tell me if you can follow it and wirte your own..anyways here's mine okay sister.....
Standing at Elveston point, Mahabaleshwar, I felt as if life had stopped for a moment. A gentle mist hung in the air and I could feel the cool breeze playing with my damp, frizzy hair. I could see what lay for miles around me - rivers, little creeks, red-roofed houses and vast expanses of green. For the first time in my life I could feel and hear myself breathing. I do not know how long I stood there, mesmerized by the beauty around me.
When my family and I toured Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani, I had no idea that Maharashtra had such immensely beautiful places. After a few weeks’ stay at Pune, we headed off to the hills of Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani. The best way to travel in these places is to get hold of a car with a good driver who knows popular tourist spots as well as some relatively unknown ones.
Our first stop was at the Mapro Garden –the factory where fruit juices and jams are made. I had a gigantic sandwich (they are quite famous and made using fresh vegetables and cheese) and a huge mug of coffee. We then headed off to the Venna Lake, a place where you can either go horse riding or for a boat ride. My brother and I had a shot at rowing, managing to sail the boat in a triangular pattern, and occasionally knocking the boatman out of the boat (he must have been relieved to see us leave)! I saw many different points in the mountains but my favourites were the Elveston Point and Arthur’s Seat. The sights from here were so amazing that I could have stood there for ages. On our way back we saw the Table Top. It is a flat plateau - one of the largest in Asia.
We shopped at the market and bought a lot of jute articles. When I arrived back home, I felt as if I had been in a dream.
A dream so sweet that I want to see it again!
