Prophet Mohammed ( May peace be upon him) was the last messenger and prophet of God. We as Muslims believe that he was the restorer of the original faith of Adam, Abraham and others. Mohammed ibn Abdallah ( May peace be upon him) was born in Mecca in 570 CE. At a young age he was orphaned and brought up by his uncle. In his youth, Mohammed worked as a merchant and was nicknamed "Al Amin" which means faithful and his reputation attracted Khadijah who got married to him at age of 40. Prophet Mohammed often retreated to Mount Hira near Mecca where he received his revelations. Prophet Mohammed was the most generous of heart, truthful of tongue, softest in disposition, and noble in relationship. He preached a religion, founded a state, built a nation, laid down a moral code, initiated numberless social and political reforms, established a dynamic and powerful society to practice and represent his teachings, and he revolutionized the worlds of human thought and human action for all time, and he accomplished all these wonders in the unbelievably short span of twenty-three years.
