P: Well, I am not feeling well at all. المريض:أشعر بأنني لست على ما يرام.
الطبيب: و ما هي المشكلة؟ D: What seems to be the trouble?
المريض:أشعر بألم حاد في معدتي بعد تناول الطعام مباشرة.
P: I feel sharp pains in my stomach immediately after I eat.
الطبيب:مند متى وأنت تعاني من اضطراب في المعدة؟
D: How long have you been having an upset stomach?
المريض:مند ثلاثة أيام. P: Three days.
الطبيب:هل أكلت شيئا لا تأكله عادة.
D: Have you eaten something that you don’t usually eat?
المريض:لا أعتقد ذلك. P: I don’t think so.
الطبيب:هل تتقيأ؟D: Do you vomit?
المريض:نعم وأشعر بالغثيان أيضا. P: Yes, I also feel nauseated.
الطبيب:هل عندك اسهال؟ D: Do you have diarrhoea?
المريض: لا. P: No.
الطبيب:هل تتعاطى أية أدوية في الوقت الحالي؟
D: Are you taking any medication at the moment?
المريض:لا. P: No
الطبيب:هل عانيت من هذه المشكلة من قبل؟
D: Have you had this problem before?
المريض:لا.هذه المشكلة لم تحدث من قبل.
P: No, this is not a recurrent problem?
الطبيب: دعني افحصك. الممرضة ستساعدك لتستعد
D: Let me examine you. The nurse is going to help you get ready.
. الممرضة:أولا دعني أقيس لك درجة الحرارة والنبض وضغط الدم.
N: First let me take your temperature, pulse and blood pressure.
المريض:أرجو أن يكون كل شيء على ما يرام. P: Everything is normal, I hope.
الممرضة: أنت بخير. لا تقلق. بمجرد أن أترك الغرفة,يمكنك أن تخلع ملابسك,سيكون الطبيب معك في الحال.
N: You are fine. Don’t worry. As soon as I leave, you can undress, the doctor will be with you shortly.
الطبيب:خذ نفسا عميقا ثم أخرجه ببطء. هل تشعر بألم هنا؟
D: Take a deep breath, then exhale slowly. Do you feel pain here?
المريض:لا. P: No.
الطبيب:تستطيع أن تلبس ملابسك الآن.أريد منك أن تقوم بعمل فحوص بول و دم.
D: You can get dressed now. I need you to do blood and urine tests.
المريض:ما الذي أعاني منه في اعتقادك,يا دكتور؟
P: What do you think is the matter, doctor?
الطبيب:أولا احتاج إلى أن أرى نتائج الفحص ولكنني أشك في أنك تعانى من سوء الهضم.
يبدو أنك تناولت شيئا سبب لك اضطرابا في المعدة.
D: I need to see the test results first, but I suspect that you are suffering from indigestion.
It would seem that you ate something that upset your stomach.
المريض:كم أشعر بالارتياح.أعتقد أنني أعانى من قرحة.
P: Oh, I am relieved. I thought I had an ulcer.
الطبيب:أود أن أراك مرة أخرى بعد أسبوعين. وفي هذه الأثناء خذ هذا الدواء ثلاث مرات يوميا.
D: I need to see you again in two weeks. Meanwhile, take this medicine three times a day.
المريض:أشكرك يا دكتور. P: Thank you, doctor.
الطبيب:حاول أن تتناول وجبات خفيفة و أشرب كثيرا من السوائل.
D: Try to eat light meals and drink a lot of liquids.
