Actually, young minds can pick up a language rather ''naturally'', much much more quickly that we do..and that is because they're relatively FREE of slef-conciousness and more self-motivated
So it's reallly easy for them..don't worry..
A very common example is when the parents decide to go aboad and live there fo some time, the parents drop their 3 year old kid of at the nursery school
...and for all they know 3 weeks later..the kid's language is just as good as his fellows native speakers.
