Today I met Dr. Susan. She is an American but she speaks Arabic. I liked her accent in Arabic language so I asked her how did you learn Arabic language? She replied that she has been working in a hospital since five years and there were three reasons forced her to learn Arabic language. The first reason is: she is working with Arab so this helped her in gaining the language because all people around her are talking Arabic language. The second reason is: after converting to Islam, she was reading the holy Quraan and she had the desire to know the meaning of what she was reading so she was studying the holy Quraan in the institute which was specialized in teaching Quraan . The third reason is : most Arabs do not speak English so it's difficult to communicate with them so this was another reason paid her to learn Arabic .
After that, I asked her about the difficulties which encountered her while learning Arabic language so she said the most important difficulties were; the one thing may have more than a word and she did not know all the words which indicate to that thing as well as the multiplicity of dialects between the people in the same country and between the Arabic countries because she is meeting people from different Arabic nationalities daily.
These were the most important difficulties which she encountered during learning the language .
