Not gonna tell you much, dear diary but i just want to tell you something I've learned tonight.
No matter how much the world seem dark and empty, remember that Allah is up there, watching you and waiting for you to say ''estghfiruk yarab"...I seek your help and forgiveness.
Tonight, just tonight i was suppose to go to a friend's house for dinner and i had nothing to wear, most of my clothes are too old, i don't go shopping unless i need to and I don't even go for eid, anyways, my little sister gave me her skinny jeans and I wore it feeling really uncomfortable, it looked okay on me i guess giving I'm myself skinny, not too skinny, but skinny enough to be called that, and I went to mom asking for her opinion, she said ''wow it's looks good on you'' but i still couldn't swallow it.
The very thought of me dying while having it on. (couldn't bear it). So the whole thing was called off and i took it off, wore my pajamas went downstairs, grabbed my labtop, and was happy that i made this descision.
nothing happened today, except that I drank sahlab for a change.
you wanna know what sahlab is?
Alright, dear diary, i'm gonna tell you all about it.
first of all sahlab is a healthy winter beverage made of the dried root of a plant called ''orchis mascula''
here's how it looks like
This kind of beverage is especially well known throughout the middle east area.
The best recipe, that i know of, goes like this
you first boil 8 cups of milk and then add 1 ts of sahlab and 8 teaspoons of sugar, you let it boil for while and then put in the blinder,
blind blind blind until it gets thick,
after that you pour it into cups. Finally, sprinkle some powdered cinnamon and garnish with some crushed nuts better be almonds or pecan.
Enjoy your cold rainy day,
